COVID-19 PROJECTS
March brought us a whirlwind of change and activity due to COVID-19. Quality facilitated many changes to processes, protocols and procedures alongside many others at FHP and in the community. The goal of all of these projects was to keep our patients, staff and community safe and healthy. Below are some of the projects we helped facilitate.

The quality newsletter is published each month on The Loop.  It contains short blurbs about everything quality!

From offering guidance & information about Patient Safety, Process Improvement, Regulatory, and Policy, to celebrating the amazing people around us in our H.E.A.R.T. stories and Spotlights.

Each edition offers a chance to win a prize by playing a game with our mascot Qualdo!

MCN/Policies

MCN/POLICIES
Did you know Quality is the keeper of Policies, Guidelines and Procedures? 

When a new policy is needed, a department will create it and then send it to the Policy Team. It is then submitted to the Policy Committee for review and approval. Once it is approved, it is loaded into MCN. How do you find MCN or a policy? Check out the slides below!


Data Analytics

DATA ANALYTICS
Our data analysts track and trend organizational data to help identify opportunists for improvement, support quality reports for external agencies and provider research support for special projects. They help support data driven decision making by building and updating reports for leaders, clinicians and departments across FHP.

Our regulatory standards help guide us to ensure we are providing that top notch service every day. The Regulatory Team helps prepare us for the surveys to verify that great standard of care.

Patient Safety

PATIENT SAFETY
FHP is on a patient safety journey of Chasing Zero Harm.  We all work hard every day to encourage, build and execute a culture of safety.  The 11 tenets from the Joint Commission help to guide us on this journey.
