KUDOS to our grounds crew! I arrived this morning in inclement weather and our property was well cleared and graveled! I know that did not happen by itself. Thank you to all who was up super early this morning making the path safer for those of us walking in. Your efforts are noticed! Thank you!

Gratitude from a patient -
We received the following email from a grateful patient yesterday:
Good evening,
This is for all involved for the care of James Sullivan Verchio during his time at FMH almost 2 weeks ago.
Our hearts are full of gratitude for the staff at FMH! We came up in the ambulance from Fort Greely, Delta Junction into the Emergency room on a Sunday..
ONCE we arrived to his room on the 2nd floor, the staff there took amazing care of us/ him during his stay. The entire team was very caring and showed true concern for his care. The level of kindness, the time taken to explain procedures and what was happening each and every moment.. outstanding! It was a very emotional and scary time for us and they were on top of their game to say the least.
We would like to name a few that were EXCEPTIONAL in every way from the time we arrived until our departure.
- Nurse Sarah - traveling nurse
- CNA Michelle
- Nurse Brianna
The entire team was truly outstanding, but these three lovely angels were a true gift. We feel we received THE best treatment possible. So patient and kind, very attentive, never felt like he was rushed or a second thought. We felt like we were a priority and completely relieved, comfortable and knew things were going to be ok in their hands.
We will forever be grateful to these girls and the staff at FMH. These girls deserve acknowledgment 100% !!! They are ALL rockstars, the good Lord gave them each amazing gifts, they are absolutely doing what they are called to do. I can’t imagine how proud their parents, mentors and their peers must be. Each one a true asset to the hospital!
In this crazy, fast paced, whirlwind of a life we live in, they really need to know they make a difference… a BIG difference!
FMH is and was the best decision we made… BUT we are only as good as the team we create, nourish, teach and praise.
God Bless you, there are no words for the gratitude in our hearts, for such a professional team!

I will do reviews for the hospital on Google and Yelp as well.

I want to give a HUGE **SHOUT OUT** to ALL the FHP rockstars who participated in the high school healthcare career exploration event! While I can’t name-drop every FHP superstar or department, I did stroll through all the stations and spotted our fabulous FHP crews in action! You sprinkled your wisdom like confetti and gave "TNG" (the next generation) a sneak peek into your fantastic world! The students were buzzing with excitement and were wowed by your awesomeness! Thank you to the Talent Development and HR Team for organizing this 2-day event and for being excellent FHP brand ambassadors! I'm positive that each FHP employee and your department has inspired these students yesterday and today. I'm sure we will see some students participate in future internships or apprenticeships! Great Job Everyone!!
